BERKLEY — Northern Bristol County Public Health Alliance approves seven staff trainings and operational expenditures. The four-member advisory board from Attleboro, Dighton, North Attleboro, and Rehoboth voted unanimously on January 6 to fund Title 5 seminar training ($130), ServSafe Exam ($150), and membership renewals ($405) for regional inspector and nurse staff. The board approved the Safespot BlueDot Project subscription ($250) and PSI membership renewal for Regional Nurse Melissa Silverman ($175 annually).
Regional staff reported spending 29 percent of the total contract amount, $525,226.21, as of December 31. The alliance's Giving Closet maternal-child health resource drive, providing diapers, formula, and hygiene items to families across the region, has registered 24 families in Berkley and other member municipalities.
