BERKLEY — Northern Bristol County Public Health Alliance approves hoarding task force procedures and allocates $5,000 for temporary nursing support. The coalition of Attleboro, Berkley, Dighton, Rehoboth, and Taunton voted unanimously to adopt regional hoarding task force standard operating procedures and to fund 10 to 15 hours weekly of additional MAVEN nursing coverage at $50 per hour for six to eight weeks, enabling Regional Nurse Melissa Silverman to focus on professional development and fiscal year 2027 program planning. Members approved approximately $3,420 in expenditures for staff study materials, office equipment, and medical supplies.
The group will survey members on preferred public relations training topics before a final vote scheduled for April 22.
