Berkley library project advances to planning and design phase. The Library Building Committee unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and authorized posting a request for proposals for architects, with selections due April 16, 2025. The committee is actively recruiting additional members after losing four during the planning process.
The project will also honor Carla Lyman, a deceased committee member described as a driving force for the project, by naming a section of the new library in her memory.
