Cultural Council approves membership changes, advances summer concert plans.

BERKLEY — The Berkley Cultural Council unanimously approved a restructured membership slate and advanced planning for its summer Concerts on the Common series. Treasurer Arlene Medeiros reported a balance of $13,726.64 and unveiled a new online donation system with transaction fees ranging from $2.50 to $10 depending on payment method and amount; the council approved displaying a QR code at concert venues to drive gifts. Effective June 30, Medeiros and Jeanne Russo will step down while Kelley Larabee and Susan Barrett will be reappointed; Medeiros will mentor incoming Treasurer Angela Chang.

Apache Way Farm Rescue was selected as the July event charity, approved to sell merchandise, and confirmed food vendors include Tweety's Treats ice cream and Katy's Kitchen through September.
