BERKLEY — Council on Aging pauses Mobile Market registrations due to delivery truck capacity. The three-member board, led by Margaret Moroff with Carol Buote and Kathy Strozyk, reviewed fiscal accounts totaling $53,088.02 in combined balances and approved the prior meeting's minutes. The board paused new registrations for the Mobile Market serving 45 households after the Greater Boston Food Bank's delivery truck reached weight capacity, implementing a waitlist for both Freetown and Berkley residents.
The Council also scheduled an extensive slate of summer and fall senior programs, including Cultural Council-funded offerings such as Music of 1940 with Fran Hart and Hip Hop Square Dancing.
