Berkley Conservation Committee elects David Patrick as chair and Mary Kate Moreau as secretary. During its July meeting, the committee continued a public hearing on a proposed horse paddock at 53 Locust Street following concerns from abutters Amanda and Steven Dillon-Abrantes about wetlands impacts. David Patrick suggested enhanced buffers and silt fencing to protect adjacent wetlands.

The committee extended a filing deadline to August for a wetlands violation at 11 Burt Street, warning that failure to file a notice of intent will result in further enforcement action.
