Berkley Cable TV Advisory Committee approves timer clock purchase. The five-member committee voted to approve a $176 purchase of a tripod timer clock with rechargeable battery and remote for studio operations, with Brittany Blaney authorized to execute the transaction. Committee members also addressed power backup concerns stemming from a recent cable connection loss during an outage, installing new uninterruptible power supply equipment while deferring a decision on additional batteries.
Bill Hoy reported that closed-caption capability for live meetings is now complete and testing will begin at the next broadcast. Committee members also reviewed cable operation forms adapted from Middleboro templates.
