BERKLEY — Board of Selectmen reorganizes and approves three-year employment contracts. Tabitha McCrohan was unanimously elected Chair following the recent annual town election, with Jennifer Vincent motioning for her appointment. The board voted unanimously to finalize three-year contracts with Ashleigh Haslam as Town Accountant and Sandra Cameron as Principal Assessor.
The board also accepted the resignation of Selectman Mark Horsfall effective immediately, appointed Joel Figueredo as Plumbing Inspector, and voted unanimously to appoint Daly McCabe as Children's Librarian after initially tabling the decision pending further budget discussion. A follow-up budget meeting was scheduled for May 20 to continue work on the FY2027 operating budget.
